Basketball Beauty

This is our beautiful niece.
We are so proud of her ...

Besides being so gorgeous, she has many other fine qualities ...

She keeps cool under pressure ...

She stays focused ...

And follows through with whatever she sets her mind on.
(This girl, I'll have you know, is a straight "A" student in Honors Classes while playing sports!)

Our niece stands her ground ...

While keeping an eye out for opportunities ...

When I grow up I want to be just like her!

We love you, sweet niece!

Credit for the pictures go to my DH and also our son, Jeff ...
I was too busy watching the game and
teaching Ella how to cheer for the team!

Oh my gosh, she is a real beauty! And that's all sweaty on the gym floor! I can imagine what a stunning girl she is when she's all dolled up. And best of all, she's got what it takes to play the game of life...a brain that she uses for good and a wonderful personality. She will go far. No wonder you're proud!

Did Ella like cheering? :)

Dearest C-Dub,
I know what you mean ... seems like she was just toddling around like Brayden Boy!

CottageGirl said...

Dearest J-Dub,
I think Ella was really impressed with Kim and basketball! She might just follow in Kim's and Les's footprints!

Dearest Susan,
Isn't it fun to watch kids grow up? Kim is the youngest with a terrific sister and a great brother to blaze the trail.
Ella LOVED clapping and saying some little cheers. She didn't want to leave even though it was past her bedtime. You know she's not even three, yet she sat the whole time and watched the game. Fun night!

Dearest Jana!
Happy anniversary to you and your hubby!

Thanks so much! Yes ... they do make life very fun!

Dearest Did,
We have been very lucky to have such great nieces and nephews, haven't we, Sister Sue?

Sometimes a person is given so much, and admiring them is our natural joy. I imagine that Kim absorbs it all with grace and no conceit. What we do with what we are given is all that matters. May she always be so blessed and continue to be such a joy to your family. It reminds me of the line of Mrs. Bennet in Pride & Prejudice when she says to Jane, "I knew you were not beautiful for nothing." :)

Dearest Ruth,
We count our blessings frequently when it comes to our kids and nieces and nephews and grandbabies.
Kim is following in her brother's and sister's footsteps.
You couldn't find nicer, smarter people!
Poor Mr. Bennett ... five daughters she had to marry off. It was her whole purpose in life. Sure glad times have changed. Jane can now go out and support herself, if she so desire!

Dearest Bella,
You always have such kind words to say ... You are definitely a wordsmith!
Our niece is truly a blessing.

Dearest Elle,
Don't you wonder what your kids will be into as they get older looking for their niche? I bet that there will be some cooing involved for Bug!
It is truly a blessing to have children in one's life and watch them grow!

CottageGirl said...

Dearest Jingle,
